my nan came into my life 13 years ago when i met my ex husband, i loved her so much as tho she was my own. you couldnt have met a nicer lady, she was funny and caring and she had a very sweet tooth, she loved 3-4 heaped sugars in her tea.
my little girl who is 6 had a very close bond with her, they were like two peas in a pod, inseperable and when nan became unsteady on her feet lauren would take her arm and help her. my nan was known as nanny ben ben as she always had my aunties dog called benny and lauren named her that. she loved to watch lauren sing and dance and clapped with enjoyment as she performed regularly and when nan was feeling poor;y she would still go and see her to make her smile. nan used to say lauren was like medicine didnt matter how rough you felt lauren made you feel good.
i was lucky that nan saw her 96 birthday in, she had had a wonderful life and a lovely family. she gave me my future as if it wasnt for her having sue then lee wouldnt have been born and i would have never had such a beautiful little girl. so i thank you nan and i love you so much.

hi nan, came to see you today, you looked beautiful in your lilac suit, they done your hair exactley how you have it aswell.
cant beleive tomorrow we say goodbye, im so upset at the mo sue isnt well, theres so much upset with the family. wish it would all go away.

hi nanny,
i hope your having a nice time with the family,im very sad that you are gone i hope you are happy that i have some of your things, i have your soft white cardigan as it still smells of you and i cuddle it, im very sad at the moment but im going to have a picture of you next to my bed.im going to make you a garden and no ones allowed in it except me it will be our happy place.i have that little musical table that you promised i could have. somtimes i will walk by your house and just look at it, mummy told me that when you first moved in you sat in the garden with mummy and i sat up for the first time. please will you visit me as i really want to know you watching over me. i love you very much nanny ben ben.i have a pretty necklace of yours too which i will put in my little table, it will be my treasure box.

benny the dog
hi nan, still cant beleive you have gone, its been 3 days now. i hope you found the family ok, i got told the sad news yesterday that auntie linny's dog benny went to sleep, im sure he was waiting for you to go first so you would there to meet him. he was with you all the time and people often thought he was your dog. he was a lovely old boy so soppy. laurens upset, its been hard for her to deal with you going but to then be told the next day the benny has aswell, poor little thing the only comfort is she knows your together and she knows how much you loved each other, when you was in hospital he missed you, he was sad and depressed and just like to walk to your house even tho you wasnt there. he was pining for you.... im getting some pictures done soon of you and benny as lauren wants you next to her bed. give him a kiss from us and big kisses to you aswell.
